Make your sticker do more by adding utilizing sticker back printing.
Printing on the back of a sticker, or the paper liner, is a simple but very effective way to attract more attention and drive more traffic to your brand.
We are seeing more and more customers utilize the back print because it is an inexpensive way to increase their branding message. This is a great means for adding:
- Company logo
- “Step and repeat” graphic
- Company contact info
- Special promotions or coupon codes
- Social media icons
- Info about upcoming events
Lets break it down for you shall we?
A sticker has a few main components: the vinyl sticker face and a paper backing also known as the “Liner”.
We will print your custom artwork onto the front of the vinyl sticker and then flip the sticker over print more custom artwork on the back.
The paper backing or liner we use for these stickers is different than non-back printed stickers. We use a special “printable liner” which means we can print as many colors on the liner as you want (while others can only print black or a gray scale).
Sticker back printing is a great opportunity for customers to improve each impression of their stickers.
Yeah, but how much?
The cost for the back print is the same as adding another color to your job. For example, if you have a 2-color print on the front of your sticker and a 1-color print on the back of your sticker, it will be a 3-color job.
While sticker back printing does cost slightly more, it increases the VALUE of your sticker because you get double the advertising space for a slightly larger investment.
Additionally, it helps your stickers stand out among all the others. If your stickers have a print on both the front and the back, and all the others don’t, the market will place a higher value on your brand.
So think about how you can use the back of your sticker to improve your branding on your next sticker project.
