Shelf wobblers are one of the most effective and economical ways to grab customer’s attention and drive sales. Wobblers have a low cost and make a huge impact.
Shelf Wobblers, also known as Shelf Talkers are screen printed and are designed to fit snap-in grooves on the edge of store shelves allowing a message to “jump out” and grab consumer attention.
Shelf Talkers are designed to snap into a shelf and hang out into an aisle. If you would like to mount them to a cash register, floor display or other location, they can be ordered with double-sided tape, which allows them to be applied virtually anywhere
They are printed on a thin rigid vinyl and dangle right at eye level right on the shelf that handles your product. Thus the name shelf wobbler.
Also known as Shelf Talkers, They sell when you can’t be there to do it in person. Shelf wobblers consist of a message area, neck and tab.
A brief listing of their uses include:
• Introducing a new product
• Offering a limited-time discount
• Incentivizing with a sweepstakes entry
• Pointing out new packaging
• Familiarize customers with product
• Generating impulse buys
Shelf wobblers are printed flat and are made up of three distinct areas. The message areas, the neck, and the tab. The message area is the most important branding space on this marketing tool.
It’s where you put your sign, your info, your message and your logo. This area is where the sales message goes! It is what the customers will look at and this is the part that will wobble from the shelf it is affixed to.
We can die cut to virtually and size or shape or we have a selection of stock templates that you can choose from. The size of the message is up to you, but it is important to consider the retail environment.
The shelf wobbler’s neck is the long vertical portion that runs between the tab and the message area. It is rigid enough to support the weight of the message area, but also thin enough to make the wobbler wobble.
The Shelf Wobbler Tab
The tab is the part of the wobbler that snaps into the front of the shelf. It’s what holds up the entire wobbler.
The edge of a store shelf isn’t flat; it has metal strips folded over at the top and bottom, creating a channel to hold price tags and product info. That’s where the tabs of the shelf wobblers snap into.
Tape vs. No-Tape
We add a double-stick adhesive tape on the tabs of the shelf wobblers. There are a couple reasons for this. It’s about the size of the wobbler and it has to do with where they’ll be hanging.
Depending on where it will be hung, you might not need tape. If not, you can request not to add the double-sided tape.
Customers use tape for a few reasons:
If the shelf doesn’t have channels
Adds increase rigidity and stability
Put the wobbler somewhere other than a shelf.
